An Update On Our BlogAbroad.com Bloggers
Tonnia

Emma

Dear Readers,

The BlogAbroad.com Express is back for another edition. As our current bloggers (including our special guest blogger) remain strong with fascinating posts, we are gearing up for the next batch of bloggers to blow everyone away. And if you read further, you can find out how one of those new bloggers could be you.

Sincerely,
The BlogAbroad.com Team (John, Drew, Matt & Kim)

BlogAbroad.com Season 2 is HERE!
If you are planning on studying abroad in Fall 2005, you could be one of the stars of the new season of the hit reality show blog, BlogAbroad.com.

Being on BlogAbroad.com is an unparalleled opportunity to share your adventures with avid fans worldwide via a blog, have stories written about you in national, as well as your hometown and college newspapers, and get paid $500 for your efforts.

What does it involve? It's simple. You just post stories of your study abroad adventures on a blog at least three times a week. By doing this, you will be chronicling your adventures for your friends and family back home, as well as creating a journal of your time abroad that you will treasure for the rest of your life. Plus, since blogs are interactive, you can communicate with your new fans. They can give you advice on anything from what restaurants to eat at to how to speak slang in a different language. And many of them will learn what it is like to study abroad from your words. You may even end up convincing someone to study abroad, potentially changing that person's life.

One of our bloggers from Season 1 has even received requests to write a book. This process could be your ticket to fame!

We are accepting auditions for BlogAbroad.com Season 2. If want to star in your own reality show blog, sign up now.

Audition Today for your chance to become our next BlogAbroad.com blogger!

In order to become a blogger, you must have read and agreed to the contest rules and blogging guidelines.

If you'd like to read about the adventures of last semester's bloggers and see some of the comments they received from readers, you can visit their blogs: Phil, Jackie, and Emma.

If you have any questions, comments, or feedback, please contact kim@blogabroad.com.

We need your help!
Whether you're auditioning or not, you should be looking forward to Season 2 because we'll have:

  • All new bloggers
  • All new adventures
  • An all new structure
  • Brand new content from other bloggers, experts in the industry, international education news, and so much more.
  • And a whole new look and feel (with a complete site redesign)

We need your help to make Season 2 the best it can be... We want to involve our audience even more with our bloggers, and we want your feedback on what you'd like to see on BlogAbroad.com.

Here are just 2 of the ideas we've come up with:

  • Having the audience answer questions on what our bloggers have been doing in order to win prizes.
  • Having tasks for our bloggers to complete, possibly tasks that you as the audience could pick.
What do you think? What other ideas do you have? We want BlogAbroad.com to be as informative and entertaining as possible and to do that we need your help.

Please share your feedback with us!

Also, we are definitely planning to feature even more content this season from study abroad advisors, former study abroad students, and even students thinking about studying abroad. If you would like to contribute an article, story, or any other content related to studying abroad, please e-mail Kim.

This is the tenth of many action packed newsletters detailing the adventures of Phil, Jackie, and Emma. We will continue to follow them as they explore the world. We will also continue providing useful information about studying abroad and blogging, as we feature different programs, provide answers to your questions, and more. Tell us what you would like to see in future issues of this newsletter.
