Click Here to read Phil's Blog!

Phil is getting closer and closer to the end of his semester. The weather in Rome has been gloomy lately, perhaps to display its sadness over the passing of Pope John Paul II, or perhaps it's only in Phil's mind as a projection of his own gloom over having to leave Rome. His last few posts have detailed the brewing violence between two battling soccer teams, the arrival of his family in his new favorite city, and the places they explored together, and the election of a new Pope (From his window he could see white smoke spewing from the Vatican).

Things should get very interesting as he prepares for his departure, and tries to find a way to say goodbye to the city, as the soccer championship heats up (and the weather gets hotter right along with it) and as the city prepares to meet a new Pope. Stay tuned to find out what happens.
