Jackie has been up to some truly amazing things since last we checked in and you cannot afford to miss some of these fantastic blogs. She and many of her fellow CIEE students had a heart-pounding adventure while in Pucón. After an interminably long bus-ride, they took advantage of the stunning scenery, climbed a recently active volcano, rode Class IV rapids, and took a beautiful canopy tour. The tour culminated in the opportunity to ride down long zip lines. As Jackie shares, "After a few practice runs, in which we learned how to brake and were informed that it was 'particularly dangerous' due to the icy conditions, we were invited to ride the zip lines down."
Find out how it went. You can also see the many pictures Jackie has posted of her travels and learn more about Santiago, including her "best and worst" list as well as her hilarious attempts to teach and shop. With all that and more, Jackie is really starting to make this study abroad voyage her own, and she is taking us with her!
