BLOG CONTENT GUIDELINES - SEASON 7

You must agree to these before signing the release:

• - We definitely are looking for personal content
• - We definitely are not looking for inappropriate content (expletives, prejudices, chronic negativity, sexually explicit content, etc.)
• - Posts should be oriented around the excitements of studying abroad: the new places you're going, the things you're seeing, the people you're meeting, the classes you're taking, the things you're learning, etc.
• - We'd like students back home considering going abroad to really be able to connect with your experiences and get excited about the possibilities for them.
• - At least 3 pictures a week are required.
• - We require that you post at least 3 times a week while abroad, whether you are in school or not.
• - We require that you log onto your blog at least once per week and respond to at least three comments (unless there are less comments present).
• - We require that you post once a week after selection before you leave. You must also complete a follow-up interview after reentry.
• - Throughout the semester, we will be providing you with a few small tasks (such as taking a picture in front of the Coliseum with your StudyAbroad.com T-shirt). You will be asked to complete them and share your adventure on the blog.
• - All entries are to be sent to us first. We will then review and post them for you.
• - We reserve the right to edit or not post any content you submit.
• - If you do not obey these guidelines or the minimum requirements for posting, you may be asked to do so or be excluded from any further blogging.
• - If you do not fulfill your designated number of posts or replies, we reserve the right to refuse payment.
• - We reserve the right to end our blogging relationship at our discretion at any time.
