So you've decided you want to have your own reality blog? Here are the contest rules to entering and blogging with BlogAbroad and StudyAbroad.com.
You must be enrolled in a full-time, semester-long study abroad program for Spring of 2008.
You must be 18 years or older and in good standing at a college or university. Employees of EducationDynamics and their immediate family members are not eligible.
You may enter online by completing the Official Entry Form and submitting an essay of 250-300 words. Online entries must be received by 11:59 pm on December 25, 2007 to be eligible. No responsibility will be assumed for lost, late or misdirected entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of EducationDynamics, owner of StudyAbroad.com, and will not be returned. Limit one entry per person. All subsequent entries will be disqualified.
Winners will be selected based on the quality of their essays on or around January 3, 2008. Winners will be notified by e-mail, mail or telephone.
Prizes: Three (3) winners will be allowed to blog for BlogAbroad for the duration of their Spring semester. This will be accompanied by a $500 prize, which will be disbursed in two installments, one at the beginning of the semester, and one at the end upon completion of all stipulations in the Content & Posting guidelines. All blogs are subject to review and revision by the StudyAbroad.com staff, and we reserve the right to cancel the arrangement at any time due to failure to obey the Content & Posting guidelines or at our discretion.
Winners must sign an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release within 21 days of the winner selection. Failure to comply with this stipulation will result in forfeiture of the prize and the awarding of the prize to another individual.
A list of winners will be available after January 3, 2007.
All judges' decisions will be final.
We will verify your enrollment status with your study abroad program or institution.
